Overview

In this role you support consultant-led theatre procedures across various specialties within a leading private hospital. You assess patients’ health on a dynamic caseload and help develop personalized perioperative care plans. You contribute to safe pathways and perioperative risk management while working closely with surgical teams. This is a flexible bank position offering exposure to diverse cases and opportunities for progression in a high-quality care environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in theatre for consultant-led surgeries across varying complexity and specialisms (e.g., orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynae, ENT)
  • Assess patient health and wellbeing on a complex and changing caseload
  • Develop patient-specific care plans considering care pathways and perioperative risks

Key requirements

  • Qualified ODP/Nurse
  • Orthopaedic experience
  • NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
  • Experience in a surgical/theatre setting
