In this role you will provide clinical and operational leadership to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care within Priory Lakeside View. You will drive the hospital's Quality Strategy, governance, and learning improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient experience. You will lead service and site improvements, coordinate investigations, and support stakeholder relationships as part of the Senior Management Team. This is a patient-centred leadership role at a specialist inpatient service focused on adults with acute mental health needs. You will help shape a positive, high-performing culture through leadership behaviours.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and clinical leadership to achieve quality standards and performance indicators
  • Lead and coordinate clinical governance, site-wide governance, and evidence-based practice
  • Oversee governance reporting, incident investigations, safeguarding, complaints, and thematic reviews
  • Monitor patient, relative and carer experience; support regulatory inspections
  • Drive service and site improvement plans using SMART objectives and provide coaching/training
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure contractual quality requirements are met
  • Contribute to organisational policies and initiatives; participate in on-call duties with the Senior Management Team

Key requirements

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or Health and Care Professions Council
  • A recognised post-registration qualification with full membership/accreditation and CPD evidence
  • Experience in an Acute environment (desirable)
  • Disclosure and Barring Service check; UK professional registration current
