Overview
In this role you will lead and deliver high-quality care in a standalone Urgent Treatment Centre serving a coastal community. You combine autonomous clinical and prescribing skills with strong minor illness/injury expertise to support complex patients. You will clinically lead the UTC, drive service development, and collaborate with governance and leadership teams to improve patient care. A relocation package may be available to eligible applicants.

Responsibilities
- Lead the team to deliver high standards of patient care and embed clinical policies
- Drive service development and change, including triage improvements
- Manage day-to-day department operations with a high degree of autonomy
- Make complex clinical decisions within an expanded scope of practice
- Collaborate with Service Manager, Operations Lead and matron; perform audits and produce reports
- Demonstrate the four pillars of Advanced Clinical Practice: clinical, leadership/management, education, and research
Key requirements
- Registered with a relevant professional body (NMC/HCPC)
- Independent Prescriber - V300
- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
- Understanding of the four pillars of Advanced Clinical Practice
- Minimum 5 years post-registration experience; at least 3 years in a relevant area; experience managing complex cases
- Experience in UTC/ED and leadership in service development
- Highly motivated

- Clinical decision-making and prescribing for complex cases
