Responsibilities
- Triage and highly complex clinical assessments and diagnoses within a defined practice area
- Develop, implement and evaluate highly complex care plans and interventions
- Provide high-level clinical leadership across the multidisciplinary team and lead on service innovations
- Develop and deliver specialist programmes of care and provide expert guidance to colleagues
- Lead on training, development and dissemination of best practice within the podiatry team
- Coordinate service delivery across multiple sites, ensuring efficiency and quality
- Manage resources, supervise staff and students, and participate in appraisal and performance management
- Support learning and development, maintain CPD, and ensure compliance with governance and quality assurance
- Key requirements
- HCPC registration
- Degree/ Diploma in Podiatric Medicine
- Up-to-date CPD portfolio
- Evidence of expertise in podiatry and experience in supervision
- Experience in change management, audit/research, and service development
- Ability to work autonomously within a multidisciplinary setting
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and quality improvement
- Understanding of consent, capacity and legal frameworks in care delivery
- Excellent communication
- Strong organizational and time management
