Overview
In this role you support and develop key clinical systems to ensure reliable operation and alignment with clinical workflows. You will work closely with clinical, technical, and operational teams to improve system performance and user support, enabling high-quality patient care. The position is primarily home-based with occasional attendance at the Warwick head office. You will contribute to system upgrades, documentation, and workflow enhancements in a cross-functional environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support and management of clinical systems to ensure high availability and performance
- Troubleshoot system and application issues with vendors and internal teams
- Assist with system upgrades, reporting, audits, and performance monitoring
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, workflows, and processes
- Analyse radiology workflows to improve efficiency and patient care
- Gather requirements and support development and testing of changes and enhancements
- Configure clinical systems and implement workflow improvements
- Support system rollouts including user support and training (PACS-focused)
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams on projects
- Ensure systems operate in line with governance, quality and safety standards
Key requirements
- strong blend of technical knowledge, healthcare systems experience, and stakeholder engagement
- good understanding of clinical systems and healthcare workflows
- experience supporting IT or clinical applications in a service environment
- knowledge of radiology systems such as PACS and RIS
- experience with system integrations and workflow tools
