Overview
In this Practitioner Psychologist role at Arbury Court, you will deliver high-quality psychological assessments and interventions within a medium/low secure setting for women with PD and mental illness. You’ll work closely with an MDT to inform care plans, carry a caseload, and contribute to staff development and training. Responsibilities
- conduct individual and group psychological interventions
- perform diagnostic and cognitive assessments
- participate in MDT working and risk assessments
- facilitate staff reflective practice sessions
- design and deliver training
- manage service users’ caseload and complex presentations
- develop and implement specialist psychological treatments
- participate in referrals and initial assessments
- use structured psychometric and semi-structured methods
- formulate and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based practice
- maintain HCPC standards and professional guidelines
Key requirements
- HCPC registered
- post-graduate qualifications
- understanding of evidence-based psychological practice
- experience applying psychology to clinical/neuro contexts
- experience with clients with cognitive deficits
- previous experience in research and project work
