Job summaryRole Summary:To provide clinical care as an Enhanced Clinical Practitioner (ECP) in line with the standards of practice and code of contact of their registering body. The post holder will undertake autonomous clinical practice ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.Main duties of the job Provide specialised clinical assessment, examination, and management of patients presenting with acute and undifferentiated conditions in line with their enhanced training and scope of practice. Triage and prioritise patients appropriately, deliveringsame-day and urgent care services. Independently assess, diagnose and manage a wide range of minor illness presentations. Support in the management of chronic and complex conditions which fall with their enhance scope of practice and training. Identify red flags and escalate or refer patients appropriately to secondary or urgent care services. Request, interpret, and act on diagnostic investigationse.g., bloods, ECGs, imaging where appropriate. Prescribe safely as an independent prescriber,if qualified, in line with local and national guidelines. Provide clinical decision-making in complex and uncertain situations, recognising limitations and seeking senior support where needed. Deliver patient education, safety-netting, and health promotion advice. Maintain accurate, contemporaneous, and legally compliant clinical records.
