The Director of Clinical Services (DoCS) provides operational and clinical leadership to deliver the hospital's quality strategy, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and achievement of quality performance indicators. The role leads clinical governance across the site, overseeing audits, governance reporting, incident and serious incident investigations, safeguarding, risk management, restrictive practice reduction, and continuous quality improvement. The DoCS supports regulatory inspections, service improvement plans, staff training and coaching, promotes a positive safety culture through shared learning, monitors patient and carer experience, ensures contractual quality requirements are met, builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contributes to the development of organisational policies and proceduresThis position is a leadership role at Priory and during the interview process we will be assessing candidates against our leadership behaviours.
