Responsibilities

  • Provide a range of clinical care including face-to-face and telephone consultations
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development
  • Adhere to guidelines, ethics, and regulatory requirements; contribute to quality improvement
  • Balance telemedicine and in-person appointments as needed
  • Manage medicines, prescriptions, and patient queries within local formulary
  • Gather data for audits and maintain clear consultation records
  • Support training, portfolio development, and participation in supervision and governance

Key requirements

  • MRCGP qualification or equivalent
  • GMC registration and license to practice in the UK
  • Registered on a medical performers list
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Strong clinical skills and evidence-based practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with MDT work and autonomous practice
  • IT proficiency and familiarity with primary care systems (EMIS web)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programmes
