Responsibilities
- Provide a range of clinical care including face-to-face and telephone consultations
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
- Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development
- Adhere to guidelines, ethics, and regulatory requirements; contribute to quality improvement
- Balance telemedicine and in-person appointments as needed
- Manage medicines, prescriptions, and patient queries within local formulary
- Gather data for audits and maintain clear consultation records
- Support training, portfolio development, and participation in supervision and governance
Key requirements
- MRCGP qualification or equivalent
- GMC registration and license to practice in the UK
- Registered on a medical performers list
- Valid UK driving licence
- Strong clinical skills and evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with MDT work and autonomous practice
- IT proficiency and familiarity with primary care systems (EMIS web)
- Experience with Microsoft Office programmes
