Job summaryThis post is highly suitable for candidates with subspecialty training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine who wish to contribute to both maternal and fetal medicine services, including the diagnosis and management of fetal abnormalities and disorders of fetal growth. However, we also welcome applications from candidates with a strong background in maternal medicine who may not wish to undertake fetal medicine work. For such candidates, the fetal medicine components of the role as shown below are flexible and could be adjusted to include general obstetrics or additional maternal medicine commitments, depending on the applicant's expertise and the needs of the service.

Main duties of the jobThe appointed individual will join the obstetric consultant on-call team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care for women with complex pregnancies. We are particularly seeking someone with expertise in the management of women with medical comorbidities, including but not limited to diabetes and hypertension.
