In this role you will join an expanding Respiratory Department in Cornwall to lead and develop local services. You will work within a supportive, flexible team and contribute to high-quality care and education. Responsibilities
- Join a team of seven consultants and an associate specialist
- Deliver a range of respiratory services including bronchoscopy, EBUS and pleural clinics
- Support the development of integrated respiratory care across hospital and community settings
- Participate in ward care and on-call arrangements
- Engage in training, mentoring and CPD activities
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement
- Utilise the flexible 10 PA / SPA structure to balance clinical duties with education and leadership initiatives
Key requirements
- Full GMC Registration and a licence to practice
- Entry on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of interview date
- Competency in the management of all aspects of Respiratory Medicine
- Teaching experience
