Overview
In this role you will teach and assess pharmacy practice within the MPharm programme and contribute to additional taught courses. You will also be part of the Pharmacy Education and Training team at Torbay Hospital, bridging hospital and academic environments. You design, deliver and develop education across the University taught programmes and lead CLIP-based learning for MPharm students. The role combines clinical practice as a pharmacist with educational leadership to shape student experience and hospital placement learning.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality teaching and assessment in pharmacy practice for the MPharm degree
- Contribute to development and teaching of further taught courses
- Be a member of the Pharmacy Education and Training team at Torbay Hospital
- Design, deliver and develop education on the University of Bath's taught programmes
- Lead on design and delivery of experiential hospital visits in MPharm 1
- Lead the Clinical Learning in Practice (CLIP) teaching in MPharm 1‑4
- Support other Practice Placements throughout the MPharm
- Maintain active clinical pharmacist practice in a designated specialty
Key requirements
- GPhC registered
- Extensive clinical pharmacy experience
- Masters degree in Pharmacy
- Desirable: Experience of teaching at UG/PG level
