b Overview /b p In this role you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust network and telecoms across NHS sites, ensuring reliable, secure services for patients and staff. You will manage a team, drive secure, scalable IT communications, and deliver strategic network initiatives and disaster recovery planning. You’ll partner with stakeholders to align technology with organisational goals and contribute to continuous improvement in a fast-paced health environment. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li fantastic annual leave allowance /li li flexible working opportunities /li li protected hours for health and wellbeing activities /li li competitive benefits package /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of network and telecommunications systems across NHS sites /li li Oversee LAN, WAN, wireless, and telecom platforms to ensure reliability and performance /li li Develop and enforce security policies and procedures; manage network security initiatives /li li Drive strategic initiatives for security, scalability, and service improvements /li li Deputise for Senior Manager, Networks and IT Communications /li li Engage with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners to align strategies with organisational goals /li li Support disaster recovery planning and adoption of new technologies /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Proven experience leading and developing technical teams; workload management and staff development /li li Significant experience managing enterprise network and/or telecommunications services /li li Experience delivering infrastructure projects in a complex IT environment /li li Experience supporting multi-vendor technical environments /li li Knowledge of IT service management principles and best practice /li li Knowledge of information governance, cyber security, GDPR /li li Experience analyzing complex issues and delivering recommendations; producing reports/business cases /li li Budget management and resource planning experience /li /ul ul li Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills /li li Strong written and oral communication abilities; ability to explain complex information to diverse audiences /li li Strategic thinking and ability to manage competing demands /li li Network architecture and administration /li li Cyber security and data protection (GDPR) /li li IT service management (ITIL) principles /li /ul
