Job summaryOur Oncology Department provides high-quality inpatient and outpatient services across two hospital sites -- the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital and Yeovil St Margaret's Hospice, supported by Yeovil Haematology and Oncology Day Unit. Applicants must be prepared to work at both sites. The service includes systemic anti-cancer therapies, radiotherapy ( with x 3 LINACS) and an active SABR programme. The department is recognised for innovation, teaching and its outstanding pre-clinic huddle model ( job planned), enabling collaborative planning and patient-centred care.The team includes 13 Consultants and 3 Specialists, supported by clinical fellows, specialty doctors and resident doctors in training, alongside experienced cancer nurse specialists, consultant radiographers and consultant pharmacists. We have a dedicated immunotherapy and acute oncology team and a late effects radiotherapy team.
