This vital role helps ensure essential items and services are delivered across the hospital site, supporting clinical teams and contributing directly to patient care.Main duties of the jobNo two days are the same. You'll work across the hospital delivering and collecting important items such as patient records, pharmacy supplies, laboratory specimens, linen, post, and clinical waste, helping our services run smoothly and efficiently.As a Distribution Team Member, you will:Collect and deliver essential supplies and materials throughout the hospital.Support wards and departments by ensuring timely transportation of critical items.Work closely with clinical teams, estates, facilities colleagues, patients, visitors and volunteers.Respond to ad hoc service requests and support wider facilities operations.Assist with wayfinding and helping visitors navigate the hospital site.Support housekeeping standards across public areas.Participate in fire warden and helipad duties following appropriate training.Assist with portering tasks when required, including movement of furniture and linen deliveries.Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Trust policies and proceduresNo formal qualifications are required.
