Overview
In this role you will deliver highly specialised psychological assessments, formulations and interventions for adults with complex mental health needs within the Assertive Outreach Team. You will work with a multidisciplinary group to develop recovery-focused care and provide expert consultation, supervision and training to professionals. You will contribute to clinical leadership, service development and quality improvement to ensure evidence-based, person-centred care across community services. This position offers scope to influence care pathways, governance and research activities while collaborating with partner organisations.

Responsibilities
- Deliver highly specialist psychological assessments, formulations and interventions for adults with complex mental health needs
- Develop recovery-focused care plans in collaboration with service users, carers and multidisciplinary colleagues
- Provide expert consultation to clinical teams to enhance psychological understanding
- Offer clinical supervision, mentoring and training to psychologists and other mental health professionals
- Contribute to clinical leadership and high standards of care within the service
- Participate in service development, governance, quality improvement, research and audit activities
- Build partnerships with community mental health services and external agencies to improve patient outcomes
Key requirements
- Doctoral Clinical qualification or equivalent
- HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist
- Eligible for Chartered Clinical Psychologist status
- Significant experience with complex mental health problems using a NICE approved therapy
- Significant experience and competence in Neuropsychological assessment
- Supervision experience with staff
- Consultancy experience in multiple settings
- Experience in multi-professional/multi-agency environments
- UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Current UK professional registration
