Overview

In this role you lead the Community Specialist Respiratory Team to deliver specialist assessment, treatment and management of respiratory patients in community settings. You drive COPD admission avoidance, oxygen assessment/prescribing and pulmonary rehabilitation, while partnering with the Specialist Services Manager on service delivery, workforce development, quality improvement and patient safety. You contribute to high-quality care across the locality from Swindon and surrounding areas, with a focus on improving patient outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role within a mission-driven provider improving respiratory care in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Community Specialist Respiratory Team and oversee clinical care in community settings
  • Provide specialist assessment, treatment and management for respiratory conditions
  • Support COPD admission avoidance and patient recovery pathways
