Overview
As Hospital Director at The Avalon Centre you will lead clinical and operational teams in a purpose-built neuroscience hospital, driving high-quality care and financial performance. You will act as Registered Manager, shape local strategy, and oversee governance and delivery in a specialist neuro-rehabilitation setting. The role combines service development with commercial engagement to secure opportunities with purchasers and referrers. You will work to enhance the hospital’s reputation and ensure evidence-based, patient-centred care at scale.

Responsibilities
- Lead the neurological multidisciplinary team and oversee clinical and operational performance
- Ensure delivery of high-quality care and achievement of quality and financial targets
- Fulfil the Registered Manager duties per CQC expectations
- Develop and implement local service strategy and business plans
- Engage with provider collaboratives and external purchasers/referrers
- Drive development of new services and respond to market trends
- Promote and protect the hospital’s reputation for specialist care
