Overview
Join the Breast Screening Team at Jarvis Centre, Guildford, as a Mammographer. You will perform high-quality breast imaging across the centre and mobile units, supporting early cancer detection within a multidisciplinary setting. You’ll work to NHSBSP triple assessment principles, contribute to QA, and mentor junior staff while deputising for the Superintendent Radiographer. This role offers variety, professional development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the community. You will split your time between the Jarvis Centre and mobile screening sites, collaborating with radiologists and clinicians to deliver a first-class screening service.

Responsibilities
- Take high-quality mammograms
- Contribute to the unit's Quality Assurance Programme
- Participate in Assessment Clinics, including stereotactic biopsies
- Mentor and support Assistant Practitioners
- Work across mobile screening sites and ensure equipment readiness
- Maintain clinical and quality assurance records, including CPD portfolio
- Stay updated with breast imaging trends and NHSBSP guidelines
- Deliver care with empathy to nervous clients
Key requirements
- BSc in Radiography
- PG Cert in Mammography
- HCPC registration
