In this role you will support women and families by delivering perinatal mental health care within a multidisciplinary team. You will manage a defined caseload, assess needs, and lead care planning under supervision, while mentoring others. You will coordinate referrals, triage, and respond to emergencies, linking with acute and community services. This is a people-centered post focused on improving maternal mental health and wellbeing in the local population.

Responsibilities
- Manage a defined caseload and assess care needs under Clinical Lead Nurse supervision
- Coordinate referrals with timely triage and assessments across the service
- Respond to emergency referrals and support the acute care pathway; liaise with HTT, inpatient services, and MBU
- Participate in multidisciplinary community assessments of women with mental health problems, providing perinatal expertise
Key requirements
- Degree in health/social care or equivalent qualification/experience
- Registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker
- Substantial experience managing a busy caseload
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi-agency environment
- Desirable understanding of perinatal mental health difficulties
- Experience supervising junior and unqualified staff and mentoring students
