The predicted salary is between 44595 - 54505 £ per year.
In this role you will provide senior operational leadership for neurodevelopmental services, overseeing demand, capacity, workforce, waiting lists and performance. You will establish standards and accountability across ND pathways and work with clinical leaders and system partners to reduce variation and deliver sustained improvements in access and outcomes. A key focus is improving access and reducing waiting times through durable operational delivery. You will report to the Deputy Chief Operating Officer and provide assurance on delivery, risks and recovery.

Responsibilities
- Provide senior operational leadership for ND services and ensure accountable performance across pathways
- Identify unwarranted variation and remove operational barriers; optimise resource deployment
- Establish clear standards, governance, and performance expectations; monitor demand, capacity, waiting lists, productivity, quality and finance
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with clinical leaders, divisional and corporate teams, and system partners
- Translate demand and capacity analysis into workforce plans and delivery roadmaps
- Provide assurance on delivery, risks and recovery to executive governance forums
- Support large-scale operational transformation and recovery across ND services to improve access and outcomes
Key requirements
- Extensive senior operational management experience within neurodevelopmental services
- Proven track record of leading large-scale operational transformation and improving access and waiting lists
- Knowledge of autism and/or ADHD assessment, diagnosis and intervention pathways
- Experience managing budgets and resources in a substantial financial context
- Ability to use performance data to identify problems and devise solutions; experience with executive reporting
- Influencing, negotiation and relationship-management
- Analytical skills; data-driven decision making; performance intelligence and data utilization
