We are seeking an experienced full-time Specialty Doctor who will work at Cygnet Hospital Woking and provide psychiatric care on Kahlo and Picasso wards, our 11 bed and 12 bed female mental health acute services.
You will be fully involved as a practising psychiatrist - while being fully supported by a Consultant Psychiatrist and first-class multidisciplinary team.
Kahlo and Picasso wards provide a safe and stabilising environment for women who are experiencing an acute episode of mental illness and require an emergency admission.
The ethos of our services is about assessing and treating service users in the least restrictive environment and planning for discharge in a robust and timely fashion. With a focus on stabilisation, we will support service users to manage their mental health, reinforce daily living skills and prepare for independent life back in the community.
