In this full-time, cross-site role you will deliver diagnostic, treatment and follow-up care in oral surgery. You will run oral surgery clinics, perform minor procedures under local anaesthetic, and assist in general anaesthetic theatre cases, collaborating with a dedicated team. The position supports service development and cross-site coordination across Colchester and Ipswich sites. You will contribute to high-quality patient care within a large NHS trust that emphasizes staff development and Time Matters.

Responsibilities
- Run oral surgery consultation clinics and minor operation sessions under local anaesthetic
- Assist department consultants and other clinicians with specialised oral surgery procedures in general anaesthetic theatre sessions
- Collaborate with multi-professional team to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines
- Contribute to maintaining good practices in wards, outpatients and support cross-site working between Colchester and Ipswich
- Provide leadership and support to junior medical colleagues, nursing staff and other MDT members
Key requirements
- Full Registration with the General Dental Council
- Minimum 4 years post BDS
- Minimum 3 years DCT experience, ideally within the speciality
- MFDS holder
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check
- Current UK professional registration
