As Theatre Lead, you guide and support the theatre team to deliver high-quality, safe patient care within a governance-focused environment.

Responsibilities
- Act as a visible leader for clinical and administrative teams; foster development and motivation
- Oversee ophthalmic scrub procedures; support senior Theatre Lead to ensure safe patient care
- Collaborate with Hospital Manager and Facilities & Estates to keep equipment fit for purpose
- Coach a diverse team to achieve goals and maintain wellbeing
- Lead teams in CQC readiness and improvement plans; provide guidance as needed
- Maintain records, supervise drug administration per guidelines, implement audit processes and action plans
- Adhere to Information Governance and data protection policies
- Key requirements
- Registered practitioner with NMC or HCPC
- Considerable ophthalmic theatre scrub experience
- Degree-level education or equivalent experience
- Previous management or team-leader experience
- Teaching or coaching experience
- Previous theatre experience; ophthalmic scrub preferred but not essential with training for RGNs/ODPs
