In this role you will deliver highly specialist SLT services to children and young people with stammering across Tees Valley. You’ll join a forward-thinking, supportive team and have opportunities for group-based work and MDT collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Deliver highly specialist SLT assessment, diagnosis and intervention for complex stammering cases
  • Provide specialist advice and training to SLTs, other professionals and agencies
  • Develop and implement care protocols and programmes in collaboration with parents, carers, education staff and MDT
  • Manage complex caseloads and coordinate onward referrals as needed
  • Involve clients and families in care planning and prioritisation
  • Support group-based approaches and work across diverse settings (schools, clinics, homes, virtual)

Key requirements

  • HCPC registered
  • Significant post-qualification experience with children and young people in SLT
  • Current UK professional registration
  • Licence to practise as an SLT as approved by the RCSLT
  • Masters degree or equivalent postgraduate knowledge
