b Overview /b p In this role, you will contribute to the Reflexions team within the Childrens and Young Peoples Mental Health Support Services, focusing on school-based mental health initiatives and family-centred approaches. You will conduct in-depth mental health assessments and risk evaluations, acting as the link between health services and educational settings. You will collaborate across agencies to ensure timely, appropriate interventions for children and young people. This position offers meaningful work in shaping mental health support within schools and local communities, with scope to lead and develop multi-agency partnerships. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Conduct in-depth mental health assessments and risk assessments as needed /li li Provide interventions including guided self-help and parenting support /li li Serve as the liaison between the team and educational settings to ensure appropriate care /li li Work in a multi-agency context with families, schools, and external partners /li li Offer support, advice, and consultation to families and professionals /li li Develop and support whole-school approaches to mental health and wellbeing /li li Collaborate with senior team leads to strengthen partnership working with Education, Local Authority, and CAMHS /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Two years post-qualification experience with Children and Young People in a psychotherapeutic capacity /li li Ability to work at a senior level and support junior staff /li li A CBT qualification with BABCP accreditation or working towards it /li li Significant experience with children/youth mental health needs /li li Experience of working with schools or colleges is desirable /li /ul ul li Effective communication with young people /li li Strong collaboration and multi-agency networking /li li Leadership or supervisory capability for junior staff /li li CBT qualification / accreditation /li li Formulation development based on case material /li li Risk assessment and clinical planning /li /ul
