Both UGI surgeons will cover any patients in the hospital following UGI procedures. They will be contactable at weekends for discussion about this. As a cohort of general surgeons we will look after these patients as per the on call rota.Main duties of the jobThis job plan is a 10 PA job plan for an average of 8.5 PAs for DCC (including 1 PA per week for on-call) and 1.5 PAs for SPA. There is the possibility of additional PAs (e.g. Leadership roles) being available but this is by mutual agreement with the successful applicant and will be discussed at the job planning meeting that will take place within three months of commencement.
