Job summarySenior Wellbeing Practitioner Band 6 - EMHP, CWPWe are seeking to recruit an experienced senior wellbeing practitioners to join the Tower Hamlets Education Wellbeing Service (THEWS).THEWS is a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) established following the government Green Paper: Transforming Children & Young People's Mental Health Provision. The service has undergone recent expansion.The three core functions of a Mental Health Support Team (MHST) are:1. Delivering evidence-based interventions for children and young people (CYP) with mild-to-moderate mental health problems.2. Supporting the senior mental health lead in each education setting to introduce, develop and deliver the whole school/college approach.3. Giving timely advice to school and college staff, and liaising with external specialist services, to help CYP to get the right support and stay in education.Main duties of the jobThe role involves delivering all three MHST functions.
