become a vital member of our Tunbridge Wells Primary Care Network team as a Senior Clinical Pharmacist.The Senior Clinical Pharmacist will work as part of the Primary Care
Network multidisciplinary team in a patient-facing role, using expert medicines
knowledge to assess, treat and support patients across the PCN. The post holder
will provide senior clinical pharmacy leadership, support delivery of the
NetworkContract DES and ARRS role requirements, and contribute to safe and effective person-centred medicines optimisation, quality improvement and
improved outcomes for patients.Tunbridge Wells PCN comprises of 8 practices covering 85,500 patients. Our pharmacists are given base practices to work from. Our PCN team as a collective are proactive and innovative with
services being delivered by not only our large clinical pharmacy team but also
by first contact paramedics, first contact physiotherapists, Mental Health
Navigators, Care Co-ordinators, a dedicated pharmacy team for our local care
homes and more.Interviews planned for November 2026Main duties of the jobThe Senior PCN Pharmacist will support in the leadership of the clinical
pharmacy team to improve the quality and safety of care offered to patients of
the PCN. They will work alongside the PCN Head of Operations and Senior
colleagues to co-ordinate the activity of the PCN Pharmacy Team, as well as
maintaining their own clinical pharmacy role within the team. The Senior PCN Pharmacist will have line management
responsibilities of clinical pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The
post holder must be enrolled in, or have qualified from, an approved 18-month
training pathway or equivalent that enables safe and effective practice and
prescribing in primary care. The role will contribute towards evening and weekend enhanced access clinics.We reserve the right to close the advert before the closing date.
