Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Biomedical Scientist to join our welcoming and dedicated Blood Sciences team at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. We welcome a candidate who is passionate about making a significant impact in Haematology. As a senior Biomedical Scientist, you will be working with new, state-of-the-art analysers including Abbott Alinity HQ Haematology analysers, Scopio digital morphology, Stago StarMax2 Haemostasis analysers, Alifax ESR Technology, and BioRad IH1000 Blood Grouping analysers. You will also get the opportunity to work with a high level of pre and post analytical automation.You will have responsibility for designated sections of diagnostic and support services, ensuring their effective organisation and operation. This will include providing leadership and direction to staff within these sections and ensuring that all procedures, protocols, and quality standards are adhered to at all times.A minimum of four years' post-registration experience within a Haematology laboratory is required.
