Overview
In this GP role at Abbeywell Surgery, you will provide primary care across two central Romsey sites, supporting a busy practice with trainee involvement. You’ll join a collaborative team that prioritises staff wellbeing and professional development, with regular protected time and a structured induction. You will contribute to routine 25×15 minute consultations, and participate in a supportive duty roster with experienced GPs. The position aligns with a research‑friendly, patient‑centred practice that values teamwork and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Provide routine GP consultations (face-to-face and telephone) within a multi-site practice
- Be part of a duty team with at least two GPs working together
- Participate in a formal induction and ongoing training
- Engage in list-holding duties and administrative support for results
- Collaborate with PCN, social prescribers, First Contact Practitioners, Wellbeing Practitioners, and Clinical Pharmacists
- Contribute to a research‑active practice and training of registrars and medical students
Key requirements
