b Overview /b p In this role you will deliver resuscitation training across the Trust, ensuring staff competence in CPR, defibrillation, airway management and emergency response. You will work with Lead and Senior Resuscitation Practitioners to plan, deliver and evaluate training and contribute to policies, audits and quality improvement. You will provide expert resuscitation support during emergencies and promote effective teamwork across sites. You will deputise for senior practitioners and contribute to service development in line with national guidance. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Deliver resuscitation training for clinical and non-clinical staff across basic, immediate, advanced and paediatric life support /li li Use diverse educational methods (e-learning, simulation, competency-based assessment) to support learning and compliance with standards /li li Provide training and advice in high‑risk clinical areas, fostering a positive learning environment /li li Hold or pursue within 12 months an RCUK Level 3 Instructor qualification /li li Support emergency responses as a clinical expert and participate in resuscitation debriefs and NCAA /li li Contribute to development and review of resuscitation policies, audits, governance, and equipment management /li li Deputise for Senior Resuscitation Practitioners as required and promote multidisciplinary teamwork /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Registered Healthcare Professional (NMC/HCPC) /li li Educated to degree level /li li Evidence of continuing professional development /li li RCUK Level 3 Instructor course (ILS/PILS) /li li Experience planning and delivering care to deteriorating patients /li li Confident in delivery of education /li /ul ul li Presentation skills in formal and informal settings /li li Diplomacy, tact and ability to interact with multi-professional teams /li li Negotiation, arbitration, and persuasion to engage professionals /li li Advanced resuscitation skills (defibrillation, ECG interpretation, IV access, drug administration) /li li Airway management and mechanical CPR devices /li li Intraosseous access and pacing /li /ul
