In this role you lead and shape the CRHTT within CWPT, guiding clinical and operational delivery in community crisis care. You will collaborate with urgent care and community teams to manage risk, drive service development, and promote care closer to home. You’ll balance clinical oversight with staff management, ensuring high-quality assessments, handovers, and audits. This is a mission‑critical role for reducing hospital admissions and supporting early discharge, through strong leadership and cross‑team partnership.

Responsibilities
- Gatekeeping training for clinical staff
- Clinical supervision
- Handover/MDTs coordination
- Audits and data quality reviews
- Oversight of complex triage and HTT caseloads
- Fill in for service leads during absences
- Clinical lead presence within the team
- Monitor admissions and gatekeeping process
- Contribute to service development
- Support early discharge from hospital
Key requirements
- RMN or DipCOT (relevant professional qualification)
- Specialist clinical/managerial training
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Substantial experience in an acute mental health care setting
- Highly developed knowledge from similar environment
- Significant experience of risk assessment and positive risk management
- Proven experience managing a multi-disciplinary team
- Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle for business use
- Current UK professional registration
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check requirement
