Overview
In this Senior Psychologist role, you will shape psychology provision within a dynamic Home Treatment Team to support adults in crisis.
You will provide expert assessment, formulation and interventions to aid recovery and enable people to stay at home when possible.
You’ll lead on complex cases, contribute to service development and provide psychological leadership within the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the psychological needs of service users
- Promote a psychological perspective within teams and share expertise with colleagues
- Lead on complex and challenging cases and develop area-specific expertise
- Collaborate with team managers/Clinical leads to develop and deliver effective services
- Mentor, supervise and teach qualified and trainee staff including students
- Lead on specific service development projects
- Key requirements
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology qualification or equivalent
- Completion of an appropriate clinical supervision course (or must complete within 6 months of start)
- HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist
- Driver's license and access to a vehicle for work
- Experience across systemic, behavioural and individual therapeutic models
- Post-licence clinical experience and competency relevant to this care group
- Experience supervising assistant and trainee clinical psychologists
