In this role you will help shape community mental health by delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological care within innovative neighbourhood teams. You will contribute to integrated clinical pathways that span primary, secondary, and crisis services, working closely with partners and people with lived experience. The role focuses on providing accessible therapies and embedding psychosocial approaches across services. Responsibilities
- Support delivery of integrated, person-centred care within neighbourhood teams
- Contribute to high-quality, accessible therapies through embedded psychosocial interventions
- Develop and implement integrated clinical pathways across primary, secondary, and crisis services
- Collaborate with statutory/VCSE partners and people with lived experience
- Provide supervision of trainees and assist in clinical practice/service development projects
- Maintain professional registration and adhere to evidence-based practices
Key requirements
- HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist
- Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology
- Completion of clinical supervision course (or to complete within 6 months)
- Experience with people across the lifespan and various mental health issues
- Experience across systemic, behavioural, and individual therapeutic models
- Post-qualification clinical experience relevant to the care group
- Experience contributing to service development/project work
- Valid driving licence and ability to drive for community work
- Experience supervising assistant and trainee clinical psychologists
