Overview
In this role you will join the Therapeutic Fostering Hub within Portsmouth CAMHS to deliver trauma-informed psychological care for looked-after children and bridge them to stable community placements. You will lead and supervise a multi-professional team, provide expert formulation and interventions, and offer clinical consultation to partner services across the network. The post sits within the STaRT team, contributing to a broader mental health service for children in care and care leavers. You will work closely with senior staff to develop and supervise practice within the CAMHS system.

Responsibilities
- Provide trauma-informed formulation and targeted interventions for Therapeutic Foster Carers and children in care
- Lead, supervise, and provide clinical supervision to other psychologists, trainees, and assistants
- Offer psychological consultation to multiagency networks and foster care teams
- Collaborate with Team Lead, Advanced Social Worker, and Family Support workers within a multidisciplinary setting
- Contribute to core CAMHS duties as required
- Support children and families across different care pathways and transitions (external homes to community, bridging placements)
