b Overview /b p In this role you will lead the delivery of a growing portfolio of innovation and improvement programmes within HIEM, partnering with NHS, academia, industry and other stakeholders. You will provide operational leadership across national, regional and local programmes focused on patient safety, quality improvement and adoption of innovations. You will build sustainable improvement capability and coach teams to deliver measurable system-wide benefits while aligning with the NHS mission to save lives and improve outcomes. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Hybrid working /li li Permanent contract /li li Salary: 66,582 to 77,368 per year /li li Probation period of 6 months /li li NHS pension presumably available /li li Opportunity to lead nationally significant programmes /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide leadership and oversight for a portfolio of complex, high-profile programmes across patient safety, innovation adoption and quality improvement /li li Ensure programmes meet objectives, timelines, budgets and quality standards /li li Develop and implement programme plans, evaluation frameworks and sustainability strategies /li li Support adoption, spread and scaling of proven innovations across health and care systems /li li Maintain robust governance, including risk management, assurance, monitoring and reporting /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Proven ability to manage medium/large-scale projects/programmes across organisations in a complex environment /li li Experience leading improvement and/or innovation programmes using quality improvement or adoption methodologies /li li Broad knowledge of programme management practices and impact measurement /li li Excellent understanding of current healthcare / NHS challenges and national agenda /li li Ability to influence and motivate staff to deliver targets /li li Strong communication and team-building skills /li li Ability to manage multiple projects and develop individuals knowledge and practice /li li Highly computer literate with MS Office and PMO systems /li /ul ul li Influence and motivate staff to deliver challenging targets /li li Ability to build successful teams /li li Clear, articulate communication with tact and diplomacy /li li Programme management techniques /li li Quality improvement methodologies /li li Adoption and spread methodologies /li /ul
