Main duties of the job
- Provide senior nursing leadership and support the Ward Manager in the day-to-day running of the ward.
- Lead and supervise nursing staff, supporting their development, clinical supervision and performance.
- Act as a shift leader, ensuring safe staffing, effective risk management and high standards of patient care.
- Support the MDT, oversee therapeutic care and deputise for the Ward Manager when required.
