Overview
In this Consultant Dermatology role, you will support paediatric and skin cancer waiting lists within the NNUH Dermatology team. You will work across multiple sites, contributing to high-quality, safe patient care and governance. Expect involvement in clinical audit, quality improvement, and development of guidelines and pathways, while modelling the hospital’s PRIDE values. The post offers flexible working and a chance to influence service delivery at a major teaching and research hospital.

Responsibilities
- Support Clinical Governance implementation across the Trust
- Participate in clinical audit, quality improvement, and risk management
- Contribute to development of clinical guidelines and pathways
- Engage in professional development, appraisal, and governance activities
- Be a member of the Consultant Staff Committee and participate in its work
- Deliver high-quality, safe, and compassionate care and act as a role model
- Promote an inclusive culture aligned with PRIDE values
- Work flexibly across sites as required
- Support service improvements and teaching/training initiatives
Key requirements
- Full GMC Registration
- MRCP (or FRCS plastics) or equivalent
- MBBS or equivalent
- Entry on GMC Specialist Register via CCT (within 6 months of interview) or CESR/CESR portfolio pathway
- Dermatology secondary care experience at consultant level in the UK
- Training and expertise in children's safeguarding
- Expertise in skin cancer management
- Expertise in paediatric dermatology management
- Good communicator
