This influential role will lead and support clinical assurance, audit, accreditation and improvement activity across the Trust, helping to ensure high standards of care and continuous service improvement.Working closely with senior clinical and operational leaders, you will provide expert advice on clinical audit methodology, assurance processes and quality improvement initiatives. You will coordinate Trust-wide assurance projects, support national audit participation, and contribute to reporting that informs quality governance and Board assurance.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled governance, audit, quality improvement or assurance professional looking to make a significant impact on patient safety and service excellence.Main duties of the jobAs the Clinical Assurance Manager, you will:Lead and coordinate Trust-wide clinical audit and assurance projects.Support the development and delivery of improvement programmes arising from audit and assurance findings.Provide specialist advice on audit design, methodology, data analysis and reporting.Coordinate participation in national clinical audits and assurance programmes.Support accreditation programmes and quality assessments across services.Produce high-quality reports for senior leaders, committees and Trust Board assurance processes.Work collaboratively with clinical teams, governance leads and senior managers to improve quality and patient safety.Supervise and support the Clinical Assurance Specialist and other junior team members.Deliver training and guidance on clinical audit, assurance and quality improvement methodologies.About usAt Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust, inclusion is at the heart of how we work.
