b Overview /b p In this role you will provide specialist psychology and neuropsychology input across stroke rehabilitation and chronic pain pathways. You will work within integrated physical health services, collaborating with MDTs to deliver assessment, formulation and intervention to adults, contributing to psychologically informed rehabilitation and long-term condition management. You will engage in teaching, supervision and service development while working autonomously under professional guidelines. The role spans SESD and Chronic Pain Psychology Service with opportunities for cross-service collaboration and career development. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide specialist clinical psychology and neuropsychology assessments, formulations and interventions /li li Support psychologically informed rehabilitation and pain management approaches /li li Offer specialist consultation, teaching and supervision to multidisciplinary colleagues /li li Contribute to rehabilitation goal setting, discharge planning and complex care planning /li li Undertake risk assessment and risk management /li li Support carers and families adjusting to stroke-related disability and chronic pain /li li Contribute to service evaluation, audit, quality improvement and development /li li Promote psychologically informed approaches across integrated physical healthcare services /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent recognised by HCPC /li li HCPC registration as Practitioner Psychologist /li li Desirable: Postgraduate neuropsychology training /li li Essential: Experience of psychological assessment and intervention with adults with complex needs /li li Experience of multidisciplinary working /li li Strong formulation and communication skills /li li Ability to work autonomously and within MDT settings /li li Commitment to psychologically informed rehabilitation and physical healthcare psychology /li li Desirable: Experience within stroke rehabilitation services /li li Desirable: Experience within chronic pain or physical health psychology services /li li Desirable: Experience of neuropsychological assessment /li li Desirable: Experience of supervision, teaching or service development /li li Desirable: Knowledge of stroke rehabilitation pathways and chronic pain management /li /ul ul li Strong formulation and communication skills /li li Ability to work autonomously and within MDT settings /li li Sensitivity in communicating highly complex information /li li Psychometric and neuropsychological assessment /li li Knowledge of evidence-based psychological interventions /li li Experience with ACT, CBT or CFT approaches /li /ul
