Overview
In this Band 7 role, you will deliver specialist psychological assessments, formulations and therapy within Isle of Wight Community Mental Health Teams. You will work in a multidisciplinary setting to support people with complex mental health and emotional needs, focusing on recovery and co-production with service users and carers. The position offers a meaningful opportunity to shape care across community settings while enjoying island life. You will collaborate across services to drive compassionate, evidence-based practice in a supportive Trust.

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality specialist assessment, formulation and individual and group psychological therapy to CMHT patients
- Work within guidelines and service policies/procedures
- Engage families or named carers in care planning
- Adopt a recovery-focused, co-production approach with patients and carers
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Support across care settings and across the life course as needed

Key requirements
- Doctoral level qualification in clinical or counselling psychology and HCPC registration
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment across inpatient, community and primary care settings
- Experience with diverse client groups and wide range of clinical presentations
- Accredited registration with a relevant psychological professional body (e.g., HCPC, BABCP, ACAT, EMDR Association)
- UK professional registration and compliance with DBS checks
