Overview
In this role you will provide clinical leadership for the CAMHS Eating Disorder Team on the Isle of Wight, guiding evidence-based assessment, treatment and care planning for children and young people with eating disorders and their families. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a safe, high-quality, and person-centred pathway, meeting national standards and quality targets. You will develop workforce capacity, supervise staff, and collaborate with local partners to ensure integrated, responsive services. This is a mission-critical role that shapes care delivery and service development within the Eating Disorder Service.

Responsibilities
- Provide specialist clinical leadership for the Eating Disorder Team
- Oversee the safe delivery of the eating disorder pathway and ensure compliance with NICE guidance and CYP service standards
- Monitor service performance and clinical risk; contribute to multidisciplinary treatment decisions
- Lead workforce development, including recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal and professional development
- Develop and implement systems for clinical supervision, caseload management, governance and quality improvement
- Foster cross-agency collaboration with CAMHS, paediatrics, primary care, social care and education to ensure integrated care and smooth transitions
Key requirements
- RMN with live NMC registration or Allied Health Professional Psychologist or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker with current registration
- Post-registration training in evidence-based psychological treatments
- Experience in assessment and management of eating disorders and serious mental illness
- Experience with audit work and risk assessment/tracking
- Ability to supervise and provide teaching/mentorship
- UK professional registration
