Overview
In this role you will lead day-to-day specialist support services across New Milton and Southampton, guiding two individuals with learning disabilities and a bespoke complex-need case. You’ll work with families, health professionals, and agencies to deliver person-centred outcomes, while ensuring safety, hygiene, and KPI-aligned care. Reporting to the Registered Manager, you’ll provide operational oversight, develop staff, and model best practice across multiple services.

Responsibilities
- oversee multiple services to ensure regulatory and organizational standards are met
- line manage and develop staff including Care Managers, Seniors, and Support Workers
- drive KPI achievement and continuous improvement in operations and quality assurance
- maintain positive relationships with people we support, families, professionals, and stakeholders
- prepare and manage staff rotas to ensure efficient resource use and consistent care
- support budget management and financial discipline across services
- embed holistic, person-centred care values across all services
- manage safeguarding concerns and notifiable events with timely CQC reporting
- participate in meetings, document actions, and follow through to completion
- undertake shifts as needed to model best practice and support teams
- participate in on-call duties and deliver out-of-hours support
- adhere to all company policies and procedures
- perform other duties commensurate with the role
Key requirements
- QCF Level 4 or 5 / RMA / Health & Social Care or prepared to undertake
- experience supporting individuals with mental health needs in a health/social care or supported living environment
- leadership and management experience or proven Senior Support Worker background
- excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to build relationships
- up-to-date knowledge of the care sector and regulatory framework
- experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities
- proficient IT skills (Word and Excel)
