Overview
In this role you will join the Lancaster & Morecambe CMHT as a Consultant Psychiatrist, delivering General Adult care within a multidisciplinary team on a full-time basis. You will maintain a compact caseload while supporting and advising colleagues, and participate in the Consultant On Call rota with additional remuneration. The Trust supports academic links, clinical and educational supervision, and flexible job planning to fit interests. Responsibilities
- Work as part of an MDT and manage a compact caseload.
- Support and advise other team members within the CMHT.
- Operate within a small group of community-based consultants.
- Participate in the Consultant On Call rota with remuneration.
- Contribute to clinical supervision and education initiatives.
- Support development of specialist interests and flexible job planning.
Key requirements
- Full GMC registration
- On GMC Specialist Register or eligible within 6 months of interview
- Section 12 Approved at start or eligible within 3 months
- Approved Clinician (AC) status or eligible within 3 months
