Overview
In this Haematology post you will support both in-patient and out-patient duties, contributing to wards, day units, clinics and procedure lists for bone marrow biopsies, intrathecal chemotherapy and Hickman line removal. You will liaise with other specialties to support referrals and gain experience in laboratory haematology. General medicine experience is essential and you will receive training to develop Haematology skills. This role offers cross-site work with University Hospitals Tees and a clear path for professional development.

Responsibilities
- Support the ward and day unit
- Run clinics and procedural lists (bone marrow biopsies, intrathecal chemotherapy, Hickman line removal)
- Liaise with other specialties to support referrals
- Gain experience in laboratory haematology
Key requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Experience in acute general medicine (essential)
- Desirable: experience in Haematology/oncology or palliative care (evidence of ST1/2 competencies)
