Job summaryThe Anaesthetic Department at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital is looking to recruit a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our team of dedicated clinicians. Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital is a large district general hospital providing care for the diverse population across East Kent.Main duties of the jobJob plans within the Anaesthetic Department at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital are flexible and can be honed to reflect the particular skills and experience of the applicant. Many specialist clinical interests can be supported, either within Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital or across the trust. With this 10 PA position, there is a 2 PA allocation for SPA, during which there is an expectation that the successful candidate will be fully involved with Audit and QI initiatives within the department and the Care Group, as well as educational and research roles and completion of mandatory training.About usWe are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 800,000 people.
