Overview
In this role you provide senior financial leadership within the Management Accounting team to support service lines across the Trust. You will deliver robust, timely management accounting information to guide executive decisions and performance against targets. You’ll collaborate with the Director of Finance, senior leaders and budget holders to enable service improvement through sound financial management. This is a high-impact role at a large NHS Trust with opportunities to shape financial stewardship and cross-functional working. Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and timely financial performance reports for Directorates within agreed timetables
- Monitor Directorate financial performance and implement corrective actions with General Managers and budget holders to meet targets
- Lead annual budget setting for Directorates
- Advance Service Line Reporting and ensure budget holders understand and use the reports
Key requirements
- Degree (evidence)
- Post-graduate qualification in Accountancy
- Member of a professional body (e.g., CIPFA)
- Current UK professional registration
- UK sponsorship considerations noted (Skilled worker)
