Overview
In this role you join a patient-focused team of Rotational Clinical Trial Pharmacists at GOSH. You will gain experience in GCP, regulatory tasks and core trial operations, with the option to rotate into SACT-focused or General Medicine clinical trials. You are supported by Senior Specialist Clinical Trial Pharmacists to develop study delivery, IMP management and modification processes. This position offers a path for experienced pharmacists or those seeking a specialist paediatric clinical trials service. You will contribute to a mission-driven, inclusive hospital environment that values diverse talent.
Responsibilities
- Engage in core clinical trial operational activities
- Support IMP management and technical assurance
- Assist with study setups and modification management
- Participate in rotational programmes across SACT and General Medicine clinical trials
- Work under guidance from Senior Specialist Clinical Trial Pharmacists
Key requirements
- Registered as a pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Postgraduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent experience
- Desirable: Non-Medical Prescriber
- Experience providing a clinical service in a specialist paediatric area
- Multidisciplinary team working and good use of medicines in paediatrics
- Good verbal communication
- Good written communication
