Are you a motivated, patient-centred General Practitioner looking for a rewarding role that truly respects your work-life balance? Chepstow Gardens Medical Centre and St George's Medical Centre are two well-established, friendly and closely linked NHS GP practices on Lady Margaret Road, Southall, together serving a diverse and engaged patient population. Both sites are part of North Southall PCN and Ealing GP Federation, giving our clinicians access to a wider network of resources, enhanced services and career development opportunities well beyond what a single practice can typically offer.

As part of our proactive strategy to continuously elevate our clinical standards and drive our CQC ratings upward, we are expanding our medical team across both sites. We are looking for an enthusiastic Salaried GP to join us on a permanent basis, working across CGMC and/or SGMC. We know how demanding modern primary care can be, which is why sessions, days and site allocation are all genuinely negotiable to suit your circumstances.

Main duties of the job

  • Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality, safe and compassionate evidence-based clinical care to our registered patient population.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively alongside our multidisciplinary team across both sites to ensure seamless patient journeys and efficient cross-cover.
  • Practice Development: Actively contribute to the ongoing development, clinical governance and continuous service improvement of the practices as we target CQC excellence.
  • Compliance: Participate regularly in internal clinical meetings, peer reviews and multi-disciplinary case discussions.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous, accurate and structured electronic patient records using SystmOne.

At CGMC and SGMC, you will not be practising in isolation. We have built an extensive, highly integrated multidisciplinary network across both sites to significantly streamline your daily admin and reduce clinical strain. Your day-to-day workload will be fully supported by:

  • A supportive team of GP Assistants to help with demand and manage care coordination.
  • PCN Paramedics dedicated to home visits.
  • A PCN Mental Health Nurse to manage patients with Severe and Common Mental Illness (SMI/CMI).
  • A PCN First-Contact Physiotherapist providing direct assessment and treatment for musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
  • Dedicated Practice Nurses managing chronic disease frameworks.
  • Active Social Prescribers to handle complex, holistic patient pathway referrals.
  • Dedicated Secretarial Support to prepare, process and manage outgoing referral letters, freeing up your clinical time.
  • A supportive, highly efficient administrative and management team across both sites.
